Spring into Ambit Cares Volunteer Week

Ambit Cares aids those who struggle with hunger across the country. Next week, Ambit Customers, Consultants and employees will join together to volunteer at local food banks, hunger relief organizations and other places assisting those who deal with food insecurity. Here’s how you can get involved in the upcoming Spring Ambit Cares Volunteer Week.

Find a Volunteer Activity
We partner with Feeding America, a nationwide network of member food banks that offers a search function to helps volunteers find local food banks and pantries that need volunteer help. You can start your search here. Some faith-based organizations also have programs to feed the hungry that need volunteers. There’s always the option of designing your own volunteer activity. Successful past Consultant-sponsored events have included food or can drives, joint volunteer activities or donation campaigns.

Show Off Your Work
We love to see the volunteer events you do with your teams. We also encourage you to wear your Ambit Cares t-shirts, take pictures and share them on social media using #AmbitCares.

Share Your Impact
We measure the efforts of our Consultants and employees who participate in the Ambit Cares Volunteer Weeks. So, once you’ve completed your volunteer activity, head to ambitcares.org to fill out your Volunteer Completion Form. This step is important because it’s how we report the important work we’re doing together to combat hunger – and it’s how we recognize our Consultants for their hard work.

While our quarterly Volunteer Weeks are a great chance to work alongside each to have an impact in our communities, you’re free to volunteer to support Ambit Cares at any time during the year. Find your activity, share it with us and then tell us about all of the hard work you’ve done. We can’t wait to see how you’re fighting hunger in your community.
